“Weave music, connect the circle: Kids Tsumugine Performance”

Performance Kids Tokyo is a program in which professional performing artists from the fields of dance, theater, music, etc. hold 10-day workshops with children at schools and cultural facilities to create original works with children in the lead roles, and perform them on the final day. Artists exploring contemporary modes of expression make use of the children’s ideas in the creative process, helping to cultivate the children’s creativity and independence, and improve their communication skills.
The March 21 free showing of “Weave music, connect the circle: Kids Tsumugine Performance” is one of these. Composer Yasuno Miyauchi leads a stage performance created with children using voice, sound and body.
