Evolving visual media = New paths for the future

The theme for this year’s Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions is the idea of a “multiple future” — the potential to be replicable and exist in “multiple.” Featuring works by a diverse, international group of artists, including Aki Sasamoto (from Japan) and Fiona Tan (from the Netherlands), the festival will explore the “futures” that lie in this intrinsic element of contemporary visual media.
